Search Is Never Tiered — You Pay For Catalogue Size

Every plan, including the free one, gets every search feature we ship: the same engine, the same speed, the same typo tolerance, the same facets. We never put a search capability behind a higher tier. Search analytics — the dashboards showing what your shoppers searched for, clicked, and couldn’t find — is included on every paid plan, from the cheapest up; it is the one thing the free tier doesn’t include. Beyond that, the only thing that changes between plans is how many products you can index. If your catalogue is small, you pay little or nothing; if it grows, you move up a plan.

No Per-Search Meters, Ever

Your bill does not move because shoppers searched more. A viral day — the best kind of day for a store — costs you exactly the same as a quiet one. We think charging you more precisely when you’re most successful is backwards.

The Price You See Is The Price You Pay

Our pricing page renders from the very same list our billing system charges from. It is structurally impossible for the advertised price to drift from the charged price, because they are the same number.

The Free Tier Is Genuinely Free

Up to 100 search results, for as long as you like, just by installing the plugin — no account and no card required to get search working. It isn’t a time-limited trial and it doesn’t degrade into nagware.

What counts as a search result: any single item we index so your shoppers can find it — a product, and optionally a page or a blog post. They all draw on the same allowance, which is why there is one number rather than several. Indexing pages and posts is off unless you switch it on, and your products always take priority: if you reach your limit, we hold back a page or a post before we ever hold back something you sell.

A product counts once, however many variants it has. A t-shirt in five sizes and four colours is one search result, not twenty — even though every one of those variants stays searchable by its own SKU. You can work out your number by counting the things you sell, not by multiplying them.

Going Over Your Limit Never Breaks Search

If your catalogue grows past your plan’s limit, nothing breaks. Search keeps working on everything already indexed. We simply stop adding new products to the index and show a friendly “you’re at your limit” note until you upgrade. We never purge your index, never switch search off, and never hold your storefront hostage.

No Surprise Price Hikes

We won’t quietly raise your price. If our list pricing ever changes, existing subscribers keep their price for a clearly-communicated period, and any change is announced in advance — never slipped into a renewal.

Cancel Yourself, In One Click

No retention hoops, no “call us to cancel”. Downgrading or cancelling never breaks your live storefront: after a short grace period the index is trimmed to your new limit deterministically, with a clear dashboard notice — never purged to zero.

How Payment Works When You Upgrade

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You pay right on your NitroSearch dashboard, in Stripe’s secure payment fields: your card details go straight from your browser to Stripe — they never touch our servers. We store only what’s needed to show your plan and the last four digits of your card. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable; when you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the current paid period and then returns to the free tier.
